The Coffee Valley @ Jalan Trus

I don't know why it took me so long to go to Coffee Valley but I finally tried it a few months ago and I can't wait to go there again. The food - ice cream, waffle, croissant, runny omelette, salad - is really good, nice ambiance. I never really understand teas though.

Coffee Valley is located at 12A Jalan Trus, Bandar Johor Bahru on top of Qin Garden Kopitiam. The stairs to the cafe's entrance is at the alley. There's another outlet at Sutera Mall. Open daily from 8.00am - 9.00pm. Contact No. 07-2956109

The Lab SG @ Jalan Pisang

Prepared a long list of halal cafes to try out during our Sight Seeing Singapore trip. Ended up going to only one because most of it were closed during CNY.

Nice ambiance. Wifi available. Friendly people. Clean toilet - with bidet!

We tried the shrimp aglio olio ($14) and shrimp and salmon sliders ($12). Our drinks, orange and lime juice is $5 each.

The sliders is definitely something different that I can't find in JB. Good stuff. Real good stuff. I don't know about the price though because it was like, my first trip to Singapore in 5 years (?) but, if you compare MYR 1 to SGD 1, pricing is similar to cafes here.

Looking forward to more Singapore jalan-jalan cari makan trips.

The Lab SG is located at 1, Jalan Pisang, # 01-01, Singapore 199069 ... it's nearby Arab Street,  Sultan Mosque opposite Fluff Bakery. Open daily Monday - Saturday 12.00pm - 10.00pm, Sunday 1.00pm - 9.30pm.

It was a four days weekend so we took a train to Singapore, bought the tourist pass, walk around Bugis, Arab Street, took pictures at Gardens By The Bay, had some good food and went back to JB feeling happy. 18,904 steps according to Health app.
